OVERVIEW

Declare, based in California, is a college and career advising platform empowering students to put together targeted, tracked, individualized degree pathways to meet their college completion and career goals, all in real-time (via smartphone/tablet). The application helps identify overlapping courses of your pursued degree with other degrees and minors to help streamline course selections by providing you with a guided roadmap that allows you to pursue multiple degrees concurrently. At Declare we have combined innovation and technology to create an app that has the capability to recognize your progress towards degrees unknown based on current and future course selections within the parameters of your current major.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a professional, reliable, enthusiastic lead ambassador to direct our growing ambassador's program on your campus. In this role, you will serve as the face and voice of our company, build brand recognition, and successfully promote our products and services. You will communicate and engage with students, both online and offline, in meaningful ways to increase our company’s brand awareness. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a Declare lead ambassador throughout your campus community 

  • Aid in organizing marketing events, focus groups, and other student events 

  • Making short presentations in targeted classes and relevant campus organizations

  • Increase campus penetration via on-campus tabling, email distribution, and social media promotion

  • Developing your own creative ideas to assist in campus outreach efforts –identifying the types of events most likely to engage students’ imaginations and interests, and strategies to encourage attendance

  • Helping to organize information sessions 

  • identify and actively introduce Declare to campus groups/leaders 

  • Maintaining a positive image of the brand at all times

  • Brainstorming ideas and participating in training and workshops

  • Represent your college as part of a nationwide Declare ambassadors network 

  • Provide feedback on consumer app 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A freshman or sophomore as of Fall 2019 

  • Be an active participant in campus clubs, student organizations or the Greek system 

  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality

  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks
